Only Six Of Europe’s 20 Largest Retailers Are Present In Romania

Nine international groups, holding 12 modern retail networks overall, are still present on the Romanian market, after the departure, in recent years, of Turkey’s FIBA (with G’market stores), Germany’s Edeka (Plus Discount, sold to Lidl) and France’s Intermache (Interex). Of the nine groups, only six are among the 20 largest European retailers by revenue.
