FM Logistic Invested EUR15M In New Logistic Platform

FM Logistic, a logistics solutions company, with such clients as Cora, Sanofi-Aventis, Kraft Foods or Coca Cola in its portfolio, has finalized its EUR15 million investment in the logistic platform in Petresti, Dambovita county, launched yesterday.

"We've built this 18,000 square meter warehouse, which can be expanded to 120,000 square meters, to have the best optimization of the logistic platform," stated Catalin Olteanu Heel, general manager of the company.

FM Logistic Romania is owned by the French group of the same name.

This is the second logistic platform developed by FM Logistic, after the one of Dudestii Noi (Timis county), opened in 2008, which provides services for Nestle.

The logistic company, present domestically since 2003, currently operates a 70,000-square meter storage area.

The company has another two freight collection hubs in Cluj and Bacau.

The company's turnover in Romania reached EUR20 million, up 11% from 2009. Asked by ZF about the market share of FM Logistic, Catalin Olteanu Heel stated there were no data on the value of the market, but the company he runs was among the top players.
