Romania issued 3,373 buildings permits for residential projects in March, down 2.1% on the year and up 47.7% compared to February, the statistics institute INS said Friday.

Romania issued 3,373 buildings permits for residential projects in March, down 2.1% on the year and up 47.7% compared to February, the statistics institute INS said Friday.

In the first quarter this year, Romania has issued 7,396 construction permits for residential projects, down 3% on the year.

Among permits issued for residential buildings in March, 67.4% targeted rural areas, namely 2,275.
