BT: Positive Climate in Private Consumption Sector Expected To Consolidate On Short Term

The volume of retail sales rose 13.5% on the year in 2016, and also saw the best rate since 2008 to date. The evolution was due to an increase in people’s real disposable income, reduced financing costs, the relaunch of crediting, the extension of supermarket chains and the reduction of informal economy.
