Finance Minister: VAT Cut On Food Items Had Positive Impact Over State Budget

The impact of the VAT cut to 9% on food items as of June 1 was a positive one, bringing RON400 million to the state budget, although the government estimated a negative impact of RON500 million after the first month, finance minister Eugen Teodorovici stated Friday.
