Record Year For Apple Production In 2010, Exports Up 7 Times

The damage caused by weather conditions to apple harvests in Poland, Germany and Belgium, three of the leading apple producers in the European Union, made room on the market for Romanian companies, which last year exported EUR4.4 million worth of apples, seven times more than in 2009.
