Retailers Say VAT Cut For Basic Food Will Reduce Shelf Prices

The recent Government decision to cut the value added tax VAT for the basic food products to 9% as of 2013 will trigger lower shelf prices by the same percent, according to the Association of Large Shopping Networks in Romania, or AMRCR.
