After Expansion Abroad, Arobs Transilvania Mulls Acquisitions

Arobs Transilvania Software, a company specializing in the development of GPS software solutions, is in advanced talks to take over some companies selling or developing GPS monitoring solutions, stated Voicu Oprean, general manager of the company, without providing additional information.

The move is part of the company's strategy of growth, both through acquisitions and international expansion.

This year, the company opened offices in Moldova and Hungary and is considering opening a subsidiary in Poland, as well, in the following period. Acquisitions are set to aid expand distribution of GPS systems.

For 2011, Arobs Transilvania expects turnover worth almost EUR8.5 million, up 20% year-on-year, Oprean told ZF.

"Growth budgeted for this year is supported both by plans to expand operations abroad and by acquisition projects.

Since the start of the year, we've opened two subsidiaries, in Chisinau and Budapest and we are poised to open another office in Poland," added the company's general manager.
