Asbis Romania Plans 25% Hike In Sales For 2011

Romanian IT distributor Asbis Romania, part of Cypriot group Asbis Enterprises, on Wednesday said it plans a 22%-25% year-on-year hike in sales for 2011, from $30 million in 2010, following the launch of new products.

"For 2011 we are planning a 22%-25% rise in sales, as well as in profit. In the first quarter, we have achieved our proposed results," company sales manager Monica Aluas told a news conference.

The company official added Asbis Romania targets a 17% market share on the tablets segment, which is estimated at 50,000 units.

The company has 45 employees.
