The local software and IT services industry has grown from several hundred million dollars more than a decade ago to more than EUR4 billion this year, driven by the investments of more and more international IT giants in the past few years and of multinationals in other industries, such as finance-banking, which opened global technology centers in Romania and hired hundreds of people.
