Analysts: Leu Appreciates, Inflation Falls, But Key Rate Will Remain Steady At 5.25%

Most analysts expect Romania’s central bank to keep its key interest rate at 5.25% this year, given the uncertainty over the significant deflation expected in summer and amid lingering external risks. However, analysts say the interest rate could be reduced to 5% towards the end of the year.
