BT: Romania’s GDP Growth To Moderate Further In 2019, At 2.8%; May Accelerate To 3.3% In 2020

Romania’s economic growth will moderate further in 2019, at 2.8%, compared with 4.1% in 2018 and 7% in 2017, against the backdrop of the completion of the external post-crisis cycle, the challenges regarding the macroeconomic balance and the internal mix of economic policies, said Andrei Radulescu, macroeconomic analysis director with Banca Transilvania (BT).
