EU Approves RON1.2B State Aid For Coal Mine Closures In Romania

The European Commission has authorized 1.17 billion lei (around EUR270 million) of Romanian public funding for the closure of three uncompetitive coal mining units owned by the country’s hard coal company Compania Nationala a Huilei (CNH).
