Govt Spends RON15B More In December, Drives Budget Into Deficit

Romania’s general consolidated budget switched from a surplus of 5.3 billion lei (EUR1.2 billion) or 0.76% of the gross domestic product in November 2015 to a deficit of about RON9 billion to RON10 billion (1.3% to 1.4% of the GDP) at the end of December.
