Romania's government plans to revise the 2011 budget in the second half of the year, during parliamentary recess, according to a draft ordinance pending lawmakers’ approval.

The executive has asked for empowerment to issue a series of ordinance during parliamentary recess in July-August, including this year's first revision of the state and social security budgets.

According to Finance Ministry officials, the budget revision will be made on July 25 at the earliest, pending data on the financial indicators for the first half.

The government also plans to amend the Fiscal Procedure Code and the Law 36/2008 on the privatization of Romanian auto assembly company Automobile Craiova, according to the draft document.
