Romanian Power Grid Operator Transelectrica Mulls Interconnection With Moldova

Transelectrica (TEL) will consider connecting the national power grid with the electrical power networks of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, a project that would open up new export markets for Romania’s energy producers and suppliers. For the national power grid operator, the rising quantities of electricity transmitted abroad would translate into additional revenue.
