Alpha Bank Seeks to Launch First Covered Bonds Program in Romania

Lender Alpha Bank is preparing to launch the first covered bonds issue in Romania after its shareholders approved a program with a maximum principal amount of EUR1 billion (or equivalent in other currencies), the bank said Thursday.
