Top Five Pharmacy Chains Account for Almost 30% of Pharmaceutical Retail Market in Romania

Three in ten pharmacies are part of one of the large networks of several hundred pharmacies in Romania, which bet on expansion through acquisitions in the last few years. The market share of the top five actors is headed towards 30%, ZF has found from the data supplied by companies and the publicly available National Statistics Institute information.
