Court Rules Referendum Only Valid If Majority Of All Voters Cast Ballots

Romania’s Constitutional Court on Tuesday decided that the country’s new referendum law, whereby the President may be impeached with the votes of the majority of participants in the ballot, is only constitutional if 50% plus one of all voters participate.
