CVM Report: Romanian Government’s Recent Steps Raised Doubts About Rule Of Law Observance

The measures recently adopted by the Romanian Government raised serious doubts about the commitment to respect the rule of law or the understanding of the meaning of the rule of law in a pluralist democratic system, the EC said in its annual report on Romania’s progress in the justice sector.
