EC: Corruption Affects Business Environment, Decree 13 Generated Risks For Anti-Corruption Efforts

Corruption remains an obstacle for doing business in Romania, being acknowledged as a major issue, as shown in perception surveys and most recently in a Eurobarometer on the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism, according to a European Commission Staff Working Document for the European Parliament, the EU Council, the European Central Bank and the Eurogroup.
