European Court Of Justice: Romania’s Pollution Tax On Cars Goes Against EU Law

Romania’s pollution tax on cars, including its amendments introduced in December 2009, is contrary to EU law, the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg decided Thursday, while also rejecting the Romanian Government’s request to limit the effects of the ruling in time.
