Failure Of EU-Funded Human Resources Program Widens Deficit By EUR2.5M Per Day

The “defective management” which prompted the European Commission to suspend financing for EU-funded human resources programs is widening Romania’s budget deficit by EUR2.5 million per day until payments are resumed, as this is the amount that the Government needs to allocate from the state budget to refund beneficiaries of POSDRU money (human resource EU funds).
