Opposition Social Democrats Draw Up Bill On Confiscating Illegally Obtained Property

The Romanian opposition Social Democratic Party has drawn up a bill whereby property owned by people indicted on criminal charges may be confiscated if owners cannot prove they obtained the respective property legally, social democrat leader Victor Ponta said Monday.
