Public Sector Employees’ Salaries Revert To 9% Of GDP In 2018 As In 2008

The spending on public sector employees’ salaries will reach 8.9% of Romania’s GDP in 2018, up from the 8.3% of the GDP in 2017 and 7.5% in 2016, according to next year’s budget draft. Such salaries will therefore account for the highest percentage of the GDP in the past nine years, as data ZF centralized show.
