Senate Committee OKs Bill Declaring December 22 As 1989 Revolution’s Victory Day

The Romanian Senate’s committee for legal matters on Tuesday adopted a bill whereby December 22 will be the day celebrating the victory of the Romanian Revolution of 1989.
The bill was put forward by ten lawmakers.
The Chamber of Deputies is the deciding chamber for this bill.
