Major FMCG Companies Realize They Cannot Live Without Traditional Retailers

International giants like Coca-Cola, Nestle and Unilever, are starting to turn their attention towards the small traditional retailers, a market of some 70,000 to 80,000 companies and about EUR8 billion sales a year, now that hypermarkets and supermarkets have gained significant market share and implicitly strengthened their negotiating power.
