Prison Time Would Discourage Antitrust Practices More Than Fines - Official

Prosecution should have a more active involvement in antitrust cases, as prison time for managers breaching antitrust legislation would be a higher deterrent in such cases even though antitrust fines are quite large, Bogdan Chiritoiu, head of the Romanian antitrust body, said Tuesday.
