Weekly Export Risk Outlook, April 4

The economic crisis in Ukraine appeared to have stabilized at a very high level, Euler Hermes notes in its latest Weekly Export Risk Outlook.

However, considerable downside risks weigh in on the economic situation, due to both internal and external political uncertainties, Euler Hermes analysts added.

The report also noted that Russia increased economic pressure on its neighbour by cancelling the price discounts agreed for natural gas deliveries. On the other hand, an International Monetary Fund delegation reached an agreement with the Ukraine government on a financial bailout program.
