Austria’s VIG Gets Tired Of Losses, Moves To Harsh Restructuring Steps In Romania

Austrian insurer Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), which owns Omniasig, Asirom and BCR Viata in Romania, wants to put an end to its losses on the local market and decided to implement a set of harsh restructuring steps, as outlined in an action plan presented to the General Meeting of Shareholders in June.
