Bancpost's Chief Economist Moves To UniCredit Tiriac - Sources

Bancpost chief economist Dan Bucsa will move to UniCredit Tiriac Bank as chief economist starting June, replacing Rozalia Pal who went on maternity leave, people close to the matter told MEDIAFAX.

Bucsa has doctoral studies in economy and he has been with Bancpost since 2008, when he was hired as senior economist.

Previously, Bucsa has worked within the central bank between 2004 and 2008, at one point heading the bank's macroeconomic forecast service.

Pal has been with UniCredit Tiriac Bank since 2007.

UniCredit Tiriac Bank posted a first quarter net profit of 34 million lei (EUR8.24 million) under international financial reporting standards, down some 47% on the year. (EUR1=RON4.1263)
