BNR Official: Romania’s Banking System Posts Loss Of EUR1B In 2014 And EUR1.6B In Six Years

Banks in Romania registered a cumulated loss of RON8 billion during four of the last six years, as well as profit of RON0.9 billion and a net loss of RON7.1 billion during a two-year period, which translates into a total loss of RON4.5 billion (EUR1 billion) in 2014, a central bank official said.
