Central Bank Governor Says Pay Raises Inevitable In Romania, But Urges Caution

Central bank governor Mugur Isarescu on Thursday said salary increases are inevitable in Romania, in the context of its European integration, but their "concubinage" with tax cuts should have been avoided, adding that wages should be raised cautiously to avoid being lowered afterwards.
