Central Bank: Romania Forex Reserves Plunge To EUR60B In September 2026

The foreign exchange reserves held by Romania's central bank, excluding gold, stood at EUR60.06 billion at the end of September 2026, lower by EUR4.8 billion than the EUR64.86 billion level reported on August 31, 2026, Romania’s central bank has announced on Thursday, October 1.
