Insurance Pool PAID Switches To Loss After 82% Drop In Underwritings Last Year

Romania’s Pool of Insurance against Natural Disasters (PAID), which issued mandatory home insurance policies, underwrote premiums of nearly RON6.5 million in 2012, down 82% on the year, and posted a loss of RON2.8 million.
