Intesa Sanpaolo’s Net Profit Surged To EUR7M In 1H, On Lower Provisions

The local units of Italy’s Intesa Sanpaolo posted a net profit of EUR7 million (31 million lei) in the first half of 2015, significantly higher from EUR1 million during the same period a year before, on reducing the volume of non-performing loans and operating costs.
