Patria Credit IFN Borrows EUR8M From EIF

Patria Credit IFN Wednesday said it has borrowed EUR8 million from the European Investment Fund to help finance 2,000 micro-companies and farmers in rural and small cities in Romania.
The loan, granted through the European Progress Microfinance facility, is the largest amount provided via the facility so far.
Patria Credit has borrowed around EUR25 million from international lenders over the past six months.
