Romania Central Bank Swings To RON1.25B Loss In 2013

The Romanian central bank reported a net loss of 1.25 billion lei (some EUR285 million) in 2013, versus profit a year earlier, hurt by losses from monetary policy operations and higher costs with the revaluation of foreign currency assets and liabilities, the bank said in its financial report.
