The strong local presence of Greek-held banks raises tough questions for Romania. Who will be able to replace the financing and how will they do it? The Greek banks are awaiting impatiently the pending capital injection of around EUR18 billion, but uncertainty persists as long as in Athens political powers have proven unable to form a government.
