07.27.2015 By Bogdan Neagu

Romania’s Finance Ministry Monday sold a planned 300 million lei (EUR68 million) in 6-month treasury bills, at an annual average yield of 1.21%.

Book orders amounted to RON1.44 billion, but the ministry sold only the targeted amount, central bank data showed. The maximum accepted yield was 1.21%.

The yield was lower than 1.26% at an auction in May, when the ministry last sold six-month paper.

So far in 2015, the ministry raised more than RON20 billion at bond auctions on local market.
