VIG Gross Underwritings In Romania Grow 16% YoY To EUR412M In January-September 2021

Austria’s Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), which owns insurers Omanisig, Asirom and BCR Asigurari de Viata in Romania, said Thursday it recorded gross underwritings of EUR411.6 million in Romania in January-September 2021, up 16% on the year, and a profit before taxes of EUR1.9 million, down 86% on the year, per the company’s financial report.
