ZF Conference: Tax Evasion A Form Of Unfair Competition. Improve Collection, Don’t Hike Taxes!

The problem of tax evasion is systemic and has been perpetuated over time, affecting budget revenue collection. It has also affected honest companies, which have to compete against many players who don’t play fair. The Romanian authorities should focus their efforts on improving budget revenue collection, said participants at the conference “Changes to the Fiscal Code. What is their impact on the budget, the business environment and the economy?” organized by ZF in partnership with audit and consulting firms KPMG and EY.
