Amonil Expects Flat Net Profit In 2011, At RON0.5M

Romanian fertilizer maker Amonil Slobozia (AMO.RO) estimates a net profit of 453,388 lei (EUR111,277) in 2011, little changed on the year, on substantially lower sales, the company said Friday.

In 2010, Amonil posted net profit of RON435,000, significantly lower from RON7.6 million a year earlier.

The company expects overall sales of RON14.7 million in 2011, compared with RON111.4 million in 2010.

Amonil has a share capital of RON111.2 million, divided into 1.112 billion shares, with a face value of RON0.1.

Belize-registered Zalois and Jovline hold a cumulated stake of 50.41% in Amonil, while Cyprus-registered Salink holds 13.54%.

On the Bucharest bourse Wednesday, Amonil closed up 0.66% at RON0.0152 a share. (EUR1=RON4.0744)
