Asset Managers Beat Brokerage Firms In 2011

The revenue of the brokerage firms dropped to one third of the 2007 level last year, while asset managers’ rose 2.4 times. The 21 asset managers collected 96 million lei (EUR21 million) compared with RON82 million of the 50 brokerage firms still operating on the stock market.
