Bucharest Stocks Close Up, Eyes On Romgaz, Fondul Proprietatea, Transelectrica

The Bucharest stock market closed higher Tuesday, amid traded value worth RON46.88 million (EUR10.55 million), while investors focused on trades with Romgaz (SNG.RO), Fondul Proprietatea (FP.RO), and Transelectrica (TEL.RO).

The Bucharest bourse’s main index BET was up 36.22 points, or 0.48%, at 7.543,51, while BET Plus closed up 0.37%, or 4.13 points to 1.108,87. Total return index BET-TR was up 0.47%, at 8.236,07.

BET-FI, which tracks Fondul Proprietatea and the five regional investment funds SIFs, closed up 0.14% at 30.945,21.

Bucharest benchmark index BET-BK finished the session at 1.393,40, up 0.11% on the day, while energy stocks tracker BET-NG closed up 0.07% at 707.40.

The wider BET-XT closed up 0.46% at 680.70. (EUR1=RON4.4407)
