Bucharest-listed shares went down Thursday, following the European markets’ trend, but Transgaz (TGN.RO) recouped part of yesterday’s loss as it was the only blue-chip that ended in green territory.

The Bucharest bourse’s BET index closed down 0.61% from Wednesday closing level, while composite index BET-C fell 0.59%.

Transgaz rose 1.5%, but Transelectrica (TEL.RO) declined 3.5%, while both Banca Transilvania (TLV.RO) and BRD-Groupe Societe Generale (BRD.RO) dropped 1.1%. Fondul Proprietatea (FP.RO) closed flat on the day.

BET-FI, which tracks Proprietatea and the five regional investment funds (SIFs), lost 1.44%, with SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1.RO) falling 4.1%. SIF Muntenia (SIF4.

RO) decreased 2.7%, and SIF Moldova (SIF2.RO) was down 2.5%.

Bucharest benchmark index BET-BK lost 1.08%, while BET-XT closed down 1.01%. Energy stocks tracker BET-NG fell 0.6%.

As investors are still in waiting mode, trading values stayed in the past sessions’ range. The value of share transactions in Bucharest reached, however, 33.5 million lei (EUR7.7 million) Thursday, because of some special deals with Fondul Proprietatea and SIF Transilvania (SIF3.RO) stocks totaling around RON11.6 million.

On the regular market, Erste Group Bank (EBS.RO) was the most traded issuer, with transfers worth RON6.4 million, followed by Proprietatea, with a turnover of 4.3 million. Main market trades with SIF Transilvania shares amounted to RON4.2 million. (EUR1=RON4.3557)
