Leu’s Exchange Rate Strengthens To 4.4815 Vs Euro

The Romanian leu held on to its earlier gains versus the euro by midday Friday, amid improved investor sentiment following strong GDP data for last year, and the central bank’s reference strengthened to 4.4815 units, from 4.4926 units a day earlier.
