Smithfield Romania Sales Up 10% In Fiscal 1Q, To $63.5M

U.S. pork producer and processor Smithfield Foods said its sales in Romania increased by 10% in the first fiscal quarter of 2012, to $63.5 million from $57.6 million during the same period a year ago.
