The EUR1B Bet The Bucharest Bourse Should Aim At

The listings of Nuclearelectrica (SNN.RO) and Romgaz (SNG.RO) have generated a favorable context, but it’s not enough for the Bucharest stock exchange to be upgraded to the category of emerging markets, which would stir up the attention of investment funds with assets of $1,400 billion, according to Sebastien Lieblich, executive director with MSCI, the world’s largest provider of bourse indices.
