Uton Onesti Swings To RON6.7M Loss In 2010

Romanian industrial boilers producer Uton Onesti (UTN.RO) switched to a net loss of 6.69 million lei (EUR1=RON4.0966) in 2010, from a net profit of RON300,000 the year before, according to financial results published Monday.

Revenue dropped 21.8% on the year, to RON41.76 million, while expenditure fell 8.2% on the year, to RON48.45 million.

The company's sales decreased by 20% on the year, to RON43.05 million, from RON53.84 million.

Uton has a share capital of RON4.1 million, divided into 1.59 million shares, with a face value of RON2.6.

The company is a member of the Balkan Petroleum Group, owned by businessman Marian Iancu.

Company shares were last trade in the Unlisted category of the Bucharest Stock Exchange on April 5. At that time, the price had dropped 60% on the day, to RON0.6.
